We came from the cosmos… Poznan three-piece, Kozmanauts are influenced by bands such as The  Telescopes, Drop Nineteens, Adorable, Lemonheads and Palace Brothers  with nods to Elvis Costello and Frank Black, among others. A handful of  live performances since 2018, culminated in their first release, ‘Enter  the Cosmos’, in 2022. The six-song lo-fi collection, slipped under the  radar of even the most dedicated of local gig goers, however, the bands  follow up E.P, 'Zopiclone' was released in February 2025, and is a truer reflection of their sound, with more reliance on melody than the chunky  riffs featured on 'Cosmos' . Zopiclone was recorded by veteran producer  Przemysław Ślużyński at his home studio in Poznan, Poland. Live  performances are raw and energetic, with the band showcasing new and familiar material to enthusiastic audiences across Poland. The band's current iteration features two former members of  Alien Autopsy/Dead Members, David Leonard - vox/guitars and Michal  Młodnicki  – drums and bass player, Szymon Starosta formerly of  Selftitled. They record their own material via Entrance F  Recordings.
